Maison Visconti was founded by Isabella Visconti, an artist of English and Italian heritage who grew up in the French countryside. Surrounded by nature, she imagined and created worlds of her own, constantly exploring and refining her passions for fashion, music, and design.
For Isabella, everything is energy. Her sensitivity to patterns and color began early watching her mother design gowns, and observing the garden she cultivated, where each flower and bush carried its own palette and presence.
She first immersed herself in sewing alongside her mother, later learning embroidery from the nuns at her school, where she worked with gold and silver threads to create ceremonial garments. These early experiences shaped her deep appreciation for craftsmanship and symbolism.
In her mid-twenties, Isabella developed a fascination with metal, exploring chainmail and scale-mail, intuitively working with structure and movement. By the age of twenty seven, her curiosity for jewelry had fully emerged. As with her previous disciplines, she taught herself creating intricate face chains, body chains, and festival pieces that blurred the line between adornment and identity.
Creation, learning, and devotion to the divine feminine are central to her practice.
Isabella understands that each piece is more than jewelry it is the subtle expression of an emotion, a quiet intention we choose to carry within ourselves. It is what allows us to feel most aligned with who we are, and who we are becoming.
Every piece holds a meaning, a story, a purpose designed to reconnect you with your energy and your essence, so that you may feel empowered.
Just as every flower carries a meaning, so too do colors. Isabella’s work reflects a deep love for color composition, creating pieces that are not only expressive, but versatile designed to be worn in multiple ways, evolving with the wearer.
